MORE ABOUT THE COLLEGE
ACTM has a fully functioning evening clinic where our students provide massage therapy treatments to members of the public. All ACTM clinics are supervised by a Registered Massage Therapist, who helps the student therapists to develop effective treatment plans for their clients.
The college offers unique programs that exceed provincial standards such as a Wellness clinic, where students work with clients who have neurological disorders like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Cerebrovascular Accidents (Stroke), and Paralysis, just to name a few. We have a sports massage clinic that works directly with varsity athletes and a variety of local athletic groups. We have community based programs such as fundraisers for charities, health and women's fairs/exhibits and sporting events.
We have a library where students can sign out books, journals, magazines, and videos. Computers with high speed Internet connections, and other audio-visual equipment and learning aids, such as skeletons are on site.
We also have a kitchen equipped with a large fridge and microwave ovens. There are washrooms and a washer and dryer for clinic linens.
