Application Requirements
Applications for student admission to the Atlantic College of
Therapeutic Massage will be considered upon receipt of a completed Application
Form (26k PDF) accompanied by:
1. Proof of Education (High school Diploma or Equivalency minimum
requirement)
2. Medical
Certificate of Good Health
3. Three Letters of Reference
4. Registration Fee of $100.00
Applications are processed within two (2) weeks following receipt.
Prospective students will be accepted on the basis of qualifications.
It is strongly recommended that applicants have successfully
completed at least Grade 12 Biology or its equivalent.
All Applicants will be contacted promptly. A list of required texts
and supplies will be provided to successful applicants.
The tuition fee of $15,500.00 for the eighteen (18) month program commencing March 30, 2009 is payable on the following schedule:
- $100.00 Registration Fee to be paid in advance as noted above;
- $4027.50 Initial tuition payment, to be paid at the commencement of the program on March 30, 2009. This amount includes the first half of the $155.00 Student Protection Fee levied by the Province of New Brunswick, as well as one half of a $150.00 Student Fee to cover the cost of various items provided to students, including course materials produced at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage.
- $3875.00 tuition payment, to be paid by August 15, 2009;
- $4027.50 tuition payment, which includes the second half of the $155.00 1% Student Protection Fee and the second half of the $150.00 Student Fee, to be paid on January 2, 2010; and
- $3875.00 final tuition payment, to be paid by May 15, 2009.
The Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage is recognized by the
Association of New Brunswick Massage Therapists and the N. B. Massotherapy
Association as well as massage therapy associations in most provinces
in Canada. Our curriculum is equivalent to the competency standards
of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the College
of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage is registered under
the Brunswick Private Occupational Training Act. Financial assistance may be available to qualified students. ACTM offers
a Bursary Program which
is available to qualified students starting the second half of
the program.
Refund Policy: ACTM has a tuition refund policy that applies
to students who fail to enter the program, withdraw,
or are unable to complete the program.
